About

In certain parts of the world, organic food was available only at special organic food stores. With the growing focus on proper nutrition, people flocked to such stores, some even switching completely over to an organic diet. Most are willing to pay extra for such supplies, even if it means shipping certain foods cross-country.

Davao has, thankfully, seen no shortage of fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods grown or raised nearby, ready for our consumption. So why would we need a store specialising in organic foods?

There are two sides to the story – that of conservation, and that of nutrition.

Agricultural products like fruits and vegetables grown using conventional farming usually involves fertilizers, which can affect soil and bodies of water nearby. Not only that, but the residue from these substances may even be found in the very food you eat.

While you’re no insect, the thought of ingesting chemicals meant to kill them is bound to be even a little disconcerting.

The constant use of these chemicals could actually render the land unproductive sooner rather than later – and we know people would rather avoid that. Organic farmers methods make use of traps, disease-resistant varieties of produce, and other methods to help guard against that. Mulch, crop rotation, and using natural fertilizers are just a few of these other methods.

We offer a way to dispel any worries about pollutants and other things that may possibly contaminate food, Organically grown watermelon, tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, and more serve as the basis for delicious, healthy and hearty dishes, both for home and the restaurant or cafe.

Whoever cautioned against judging a book by its cover probably had organic foods in mind. We know they may look less than ‘perfect’, when compared with conventionally farmed produce. However, we believe that it’s truly what’s inside that counts.

Again – no pollutants, no residue, and a virtually non-existent impact on the environment thanks to organic farming methods. We want to help you be a part of that cycle of health and conservation.

Who are we? We are Davao Organics.
